1. TEAM ROSTERS
   1. Each team will be devise a roster for their team.
   2. No player will be on the roster of more than one team in a league at any one time. If a player is in violation of this rule any games won by the "added" player will be reversed and lost by forfeit.
2. TEAM CAPTAINS
   1. Each team shall select a team captain. In the event that a change is made in a team's permanent captain Modern must be notified ASAP to facilitate communications.
3. SCHEDULING
   1. Modern will devise and provide a schedule for each league.
   2. Schedules may be revised within the first few weeks due to any teams dropping out.
   3. It is the captain's responsibility to re-schedule unplayed matches.
   4. In the event that your team is unable to play a scheduled match you must notify the opposing team captain at least 24 hours prior to the match to discuss possible reschedule dates. Failure to do so may result in a forfeit of the match.
   5. All make-up or rescheduled matches must be played by the end of the season unless other arrangements have been made. Failure will result in zeros for both teams.
4. EQUIPMENT
   1. All equipment will be made available to both home and visiting teams 30-minutes prior to the start of play for practice and warm-ups.
   2. In the event of equipment failure a service call should be made to the Modern Service Department at 608-223-9399 ext. 50. Notify the technician that the piece of equipment is for league play and they will respond immediately.
5. FEES
   1. Sponsor fees are billed to the sponsor by Modern and are due at the start of league play.
   2. All players on the roster must pay a $10 sanction fee on their first night of play (FALL LEAGUES ONLY).
   3. Each player will pay a weekly kitty fee towards the prize fund.
   4. All fees are to be dropped off at a Modern drop box location (see list).
   5. Each team drops off its own money.
6. SCORE SHEETS
   1. The home team keeps the official score sheet for the match.
   2. The visiting team is responsible for dropping off the match score sheet at a Modern drop box location (see list).
   3. Each team keeps a copy of the score sheet
   4. Yellow copy goes to the home team, pink copy to the visiting team and white copy goes to Modern.
   5. Teams are required to hand in the match score sheet and monies no later than 24 hours after the completion of the match. A missing score sheet will be given will be a $5 fine and given 1 more week to turn in, and then will turn to a forfeit for the visiting team. All kitty fees that are not up to date after week 1 will have a $5 per week balance fee each week your fees are not up to date.
7. SUB
   1. Each team will have a Blind Sub to be used no more than 6 times during the season. Teams do not have to pay sanction fees for the blind sub.
   2. TEAMS MAY NOT USE THEIR BLIND SUB IN THE LAST 4 WEEKS OF THE SEASON. ALL PLAYERS USED IN THE LAST 4 WEEKS MUST BE ON THE ROSTER AND MUST HAVE PLAYED AT LEAST ONCE PRIOR. THIS WILL ONLY BE ENFORCED BY TEAM PROTEST.
8. FORFEITS
   1. All teams can be up to 1 player short and start the match if need be.
   2. Teams winning by forfeit receive the team wins only. Players do not receive individual stats.
   3. Teams who forfeit 3 weeks in a row or 5 weeks total will be dropped from the league.
   4. Teams forfeiting in the last 4 weeks are subject to a fine and/or loss of prize money.
   5. Both teams are responsible for the weekly fees in the event of a forfeit.
9. PROTESTS
   1. Team captains will file a protest with the Modern League Coordinator if they feel there has been a violation or misapplication of rules, an irregularity in procedure, or other occurrence that has resulted in substantive harm to a league player, league team, or the league itself. This is a casual procedure and will be handled immediatly.
10. TEAMS DROPPING
    1. Any team that drops from the league will forfeit all kitty money, sanction money, fines, prize money and any claims on any awards, funds, or escrowed monies of any kind.
    2. If a team drops before the end of a round of play, all matches played by that team will be deleted for the league's team statistics and standings.
11. STARTING TIMES
    1. All leagues will start at 7:30 pm. (Not bar time.)
    2. Late teams are allowed a 30-minute grace period.
12. BAD WEATHER
    1. Due to possible re-scheduling conflicts, league matches will rarely be cancelled due to bad weather. If your team is unable to attend it is the captain's responsibility to notify the opposing captain and that night's match site location.
13. STANDINGS
    1. League Standings will be based on ROUNDS WON. In the event of a tie in the final league standings the following tiebreakers will be used to break the tie
       1. Games won
       2. Total points
       3. Head to head same order

INDIVIDUAL STANDINGS

1. Individual scoring records in MODERN LEAGUE aim to indicate which players actually played most effectively; thus, only games actually played will count in the computations for individual awards.
2. In order to qualify for individual awards in a league, a player MUST PLAY 60% or more of that league's season schedule.

PRIZE MONEY

1. Payback Formulas are for anticipated gross kitty fees. Total fees less awards/jackets will be the total kitty to split up.
2. Each team's prize money will be paid out by cash or check, made out to the team, and given only to the Captain. The captain may designate an alternate recipient and must notify Modern of such a decision.
3. If a team has any unpaid fees or fines, owes any kitty fees or player fees the total amount owed will be deducted from any prize monies at the end of the season
