  1. Team Rosters
    1. Team rosters may consist of 4 regular players total. Each team is allowed unlimited subs so long as the ringer rule is not violated. Teams may have no more than 1 master rated player on their team (exception: Wed Master league & summer leagues). Master rating is 54.00 in a combo league and 3.00 in a cricket league. Master rating is based on the previous years league stats.
  2. Team Captains
    1. Each team shall select and a team captain. In the event that a change is made in a team's permanent captain, Modern must be notified ASAP (to facilitate communications).
  3. Scheduling
    1. Modern will devise and provide a schedule for each league.
    2. It is the captains responsibility to re-schedule unplayed matches.
    3. In the event that your team is unable to play a scheduled match. You must notify the opposing team captain at least 24 hours prior to the match, to discuss possible reschedule dates. Failure to comply may result in a forfeit of the match. This is up to the opposing teams captain.
    4. All make-up or rescheduled matches must be played by the end of the season, unless previous arrangements have been made with Modern. Otherwise both teams receive zero wins.
  4. Fees
    1. Sponsor fees are billed to the sponsor and are due at the start of league play.
    2. All players playing 3 or more weeks must pay a $6 sanction fee. Unless previously sanctioned. (Fall only). This will be deducted from the teams prize money at the end of the season. All teams will be charged a $12 WAMO sanction fee. (Fall only)
  5. Subs
    1. Subs may be used anytime so long as they don't violate the ringer rule. Overall average of the replacing player must be within 3 overall average points (with known stats).
  6. Ringer Rule
    1. Any new player that shoots a higher average than the player being replaced, may lose all games by forfeit. Opposing team must make the complaint in order to enforce. If an unknown player shoots 6 overall average points (.75 in cricket only league) higher than the player being replaced, then they are in violation of the rule.
  7. Forfeits
    1. All teams can be up to 1 player short to start the match if need be.
    2. Teams winning by forfeit receive the team wins only.
    3. The team who wins by forfeit will receive their total wins from the previous match with the same team (if a win), or the highest total of wins from the other weeks matches, which ever is greater.
    4. Teams who forfeit 3 weeks in a row or 5 weeks total may be dropped from the league.
    5. Teams forfeiting in the last 4 weeks are subject to a fine, and/or loss of prize money.
    6. The team losing by forfeit is responsible for the kitty fees for both teams.
  8. Protests
    1. Team captains will file a protest with the Modern League director if they feel there has been a violation or misapplication of rules, an irregularity in procedure or other occurrence that has resulted in substantive harm to a league player, league team or the league itself. This is a casual procedure, and will be handled immediatly.
  9. Teams Dropping
    1. Any team that drops from the league forfeits all kitty money, sanction money, fines, prize money and any claims on any Modern league awards, funds or escrowed monies of any kind.
    2. If a team drops before the end of the round of play, all matches played by that team will be deleted for the league's team statistics and standings
  10. Starting Times
    1. All leagues will start at 7:30 pm. (Not bar time)
    2. Late teams are allowed up to a 30 minute grace period.
  11. Bad Weather
    1. Due to possible re-schedule conflicts, league matches will never be cancelled due to bad weather. It is the captains responsibility to notify the opposing captain, and that nights match site location if your team is unable to attend. All other rules will apply.
  12. Standings
    1. League Standings will be based on GAMES WON. In the event of a tie in the final league standings, head to head games will be the tie-breaker.
  13. Individual Standings
    1. Individual scoring records in league aim to indicate which players actually played the most effective; thus, only games actually played will count in the computations for individual awards.
    2. In order to qualify for individual awards in a league, a player MUST PLAY 60% or more of that league's season schedules.
  14. Prize Money & Game Money
    1. Each team will pay a weekly kitty fee and the cost of the games played:
      1. $21 for combo leagues ($8/player total)
      2. $29 for Wednesday Vegas league ($10/player total)
      3. $18.25 for all cricket leagues ($7/player total)
    2. Payback Formulas are for anticipated gross kitty fees, less any awards of any kind. These figures do not take into account kitty fees not paid. (Wednesday master league will use a different formula)
    3. Teams prize money will be paid out in cash, and signed for only by the Captain or someone who the captain would designate as the person to receive the money. If another player is to receive the prize money, we must be notified by the captain.
    4. If a team has any unpaid fees or owes the league any kitty fees or player fees, the total amount will be deducted from any prize monies due to that team at the end of the season
